Michelle Cobbin Exhibition
The Foundry Gallery
24 Aug – 8 Sept 2013
24 Aug – 8 Sept 2013
I am very excited to invite you to the art show ‘Don’t Forget To Breathe’ at The Foundry Gallery, Lewes, which is a joint show of my work and artists Jenny Shaw and Emily Ball. The Foundry is a really big space giving opportunity to show some larger scale works.
I am currently painting some new larger pieces, the inspiration for which was my recent trip to Italy. No pictures to show you yet, as they are still very much in the making.
We are having a launch party on Friday 23rd August – all welcome – bring your friends! I plan to be at the gallery most days, but feel free to email me if you want to check if I’ll be there on a particular day.
Warm wishes
Michelle Cobbin

Highlights
Juanita Buchan’s hyper-realisitc still lives, in detail, clarity and repose – “Simplicity” was my favourite
Diana Fabris’ painting “Trees, Encinitas” – the textures and contrasts in a grove of gnarled old trees
