In 2010, Dion fulfilled a dream by driving across America. After visiting over 20 National Parks including Yellowstone, Yosemite and Grand Canyon, he has been creating new works inspired by this road trip. This will be his 11th Open House and he warmly invites everyone to view new abstract and contemporary landscape paintings using oils and mixed media. Twice a year Brighton Artist, Troy Ohlson, opens her house to the public selecting talented Sussex Artists and Makers to showcase their work.

The colourful, friendly Trojan House (literally meaning ‘House of Troy’) is a ‘MUST SEE’ Open House. Once people have discovered us, they find so many lovely things that they come back year after year.

Each Show includes familiar favourites and exciting new artists – the Visitors Book is full of comments on how fantastic and inspiring the Shows are!

The Trojan House has been featured in Sussex Life Magazine as well as having been one of Brighton & Hove Life Magazine’s Top 5 Open House Highlights.
