Naked Eye Gallery private view

A friendly Bohemian atmosphere at the private view, with red wine and good conversation in this fairy-lit old mews and stables in the heart of Hove. Talked with artist Jill Tattersall who is exhibiting at the show.

Many Brighton and Hove-inspired works, with paintings, drawings, photography and collage stacked and hung floor to ceiling. Plenty at discounted prices, and there’s a sense of urgency that they will be snapped up quickly.

I noted a delicate green flower study, a pen and ink drawing of the Pavilion on rough edged textured paper, and some large scale land and seascapes. I’d have liked to see information about the artists, though.
